Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain language, what SourceLedger may collect, what third-party services are involved, and how personal information is handled for a simple digital product business.

Last updated Mar 23, 2026 SourceLedger trust and operating info

Scope

This policy applies to SourceLedger website pages, downloadable digital products, and direct contact made through the published contact email.

Information we may receive

Depending on how you interact with SourceLedger, we may receive:

  • your email address if you contact us directly
  • your email address and order details when you download or purchase through Gumroad
  • technical visit data processed by the hosting and security provider

SourceLedger does not directly collect or store your payment card information.

Purchases and downloads

Digital product checkout and delivery are handled through Gumroad. Payment processing may also involve PayPal or other payment providers used at checkout.

Those providers may collect information needed to process payment, prevent fraud, and deliver your purchase under their own terms and privacy policies.

Website hosting and technical data

The SourceLedger site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process technical request information such as:

  • IP address
  • browser and device information
  • requested URLs
  • basic security and performance logs

This information is used for site delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention.

Emails and support requests

If you email SourceLedger directly, the information you send is used only to:

  • reply to your question
  • resolve download or delivery issues
  • handle duplicate charge or file integrity problems

We do not sell personal information or build a separate customer data brokerage layer around your contact details.

Cookies and analytics

SourceLedger does not run a large ad-tech stack on the site.

The site may use limited platform-level cookies or technical storage required for security, delivery, or hosting. If aggregate analytics are enabled, the goal is to understand page performance and content usefulness, not to build invasive behavioral profiles.

Data retention

We keep only the information reasonably necessary to:

  • deliver products
  • answer support requests
  • resolve payment or file issues
  • maintain basic business records

Your choices

You can contact SourceLedger to ask about the information you shared directly with us. For purchase data held by checkout or payment providers, you may also need to contact those providers under their own policies.
